The Art of BattlestationsArt Director / Producer Jason Siadek worked closely with his brother Jeff Siadek to determine the look of the game.Early on, it was decided that the game should look like pulp science fiction, since the action in the game is more action driven than realistic science. Ultimately, classic science fiction inspired the look of this space opera. Alex Raymond's Buck Rogers, Jean Giraud's (aka Moebius) Blueberry series and Jeff Campbell's Danger Girl each influenced the final unique mixture of classic sci-fi with modern realism. Artist A.D. Hamilton used the mechanics of the game to illustrate the dynamic and cinematic gameplay in a graphic novel form. Patrick Morgan lent his artistic talent to the cover, bringing color to A.D. Hamilton's illustration.
Special effects & computer artist Todd Boyce provided most of the art for the modules. Using Illustrator by Adobe, he brought clean lines and precision to help the flow of gameplay while maintaining an eye for detail that goes well beyond our perception!
Standardized Colors of BattlestationsThe modules aboard ships are color-coördinated with the skills used to operate them. If you would like to recreate these colors for your website, character sheets, the modules you make or what-have-you, then here are the official colors:
